Drexel Crew Mates Get Their Happily Ever After

Jim and Emma started dating while attending Drexel University. They both rowed on Drexel's crew team for 4 years. The couple was engaged on the banks of the Schuylkill River. The original plan was to marry on the farm of the bride's grandfather in New Hampshire. Emma's parents were married on the same farm many years ago. Approximately 150 guests would attend. The bride's family worked tirelessly for over a year planning the special event in New Hampshire.

Jim and Emma were hopeful that the pandemic would not affect their wedding date June 27. As the couple waited, the restrictions were not lifting. Over Memorial Day weekend, Jim and Emma made a decision. They would marry at the home of the groom's parents on their original date and still have the rustic farm setting that they desired in Villanova PA. The ceremony took place adjacent to the historic Ardrossan Farm in Radnor Township. With the help of modern technology, the wedding guests were able to watch the ceremony via ZOOM. The bride and groom are so very grateful to all of their family and friends who helped to make this celebration happen.
