Maggie and Dan at French Creek Golf Club

Maggie and Dan are both Penn State grads but didn't really know each other back then. They sort of met each other in passing at the Shandygaff one evening, but that's another story. Dan graduated the year before Maggie and when she was ready to look for a job they met again. You see Maggie ended up training to take over Dan's job as he was moving to another location. After weeks of training together and with only one week until moving day they met for drinks. Dan professed his rule of not dating people he worked with! Maggie replied, you're really going to make me wait a week? Their first date was the next night....

Photographer's notes:

A couple like this only comes along occasionally. All weddings are fun for me, after all there are several hundred people celebrating love! What's not to like? But Maggie and Dan lit up the lens time after time, all day long. They are two of the most expressionful (not a word) people I ever met. They laughed and cried a hundred times in one day! A true delight to photograph for sure. It was also the first time for me to photograph at French Creek. It is a dream property for sure. Endless great architecture, beautiful little spots to stand and pose, an elegant dinning room and a staff who knows the word- hospitality!
