Walking the Aisle of Tears

Sometimes dad gets to do it. Sometimes moms get the honor. Sometimes both do.  Sometimes it's brother, but whoever has the honor, one thing is for sure. It can be VERY EMOTIONAL. For centuries giving the bride away in marriage has been a thing.  It is without question the crescendo of any wedding. Imagine the massive pipe organ filling the cathedral with music, or maybe just complete silence in the garden while the flute plays those magical notes, whatever you can imagine this beautiful moment is one to be treasured forever.  As a photographer, I have had plenty of occasions to quickly wipe the tears back too. Often it brings back a memory for guests who become weepy as well. As a dad who has had the experience once so far, it is to be celebrated today and everyday.
